Traditional Japanese Proverbs

"Fall seven times and stand up eight."

If you were to use traditional Japanese proverbs as a part of your marketing strategy, they would have a narrower demographic focus than popular English proverbs here in America, but that smaller market is still enormous in size.

Marketing to people around the world is the same whether in an Irish culture or a Japanese one. You must get the attention of your prospect and connect with them.

You already know that proverbs are common sayings that are used to express a truth or to give advice.

Using proverbs for your business card tagline and other marketing messages is one of many ways to get your prospect's attention. Traditional Japanese proverbs can be tweaked into slogans, mottos and jingles depending on the purpose you have for them.

Easily understood and with an interesting play on words, traditional japanese proverbs dispense advice on many topics.

From neighborly counsel (Even a sheet of paper has two sides.) to life principles (Even when months and days are long, life is short.) traditional japanese proverbs get to the heart of the issue quickly.

I have more than a couple dozen for you here. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did finding them.

Enjoy!
